A lift pass and rental package includes one full-day lift pass, plus standard rental equipment: skis, poles and boots or snowboard and boots. Upgrade your gear with performance rentals.
First time skiing or riding? One of the best things you can do is choose a First Timer Package. It covers lessons, a lift pass, and rental equipment, making your first days on the snow as smooth as possible. Lessons are available for both adults and kids, so everyone can get up and sliding as quickly and as safely as possible.

If you buy an Earlybird or Flexi multi-day pass, then yes. Regular, multi-day passes will be mountain and date-specific (to be used within a window e.g. 2 out of 3 days).
Yes, you will be able to, up to 7 days in advance, subject to the capacity available on the day you want to reschedule to. You’ll need to contact our team to do so, and may need to pay a price difference if the new day you’re choosing is at a higher rate.
If you have a single day pass and can come another day, the team will help you reschedule to another day at no extra charge.
If you have a multi-day pass, first check and see what your “windows” are – as an example, if you have a 2-day pass and you’re in town for 3, you may still be able to use your multi-day pass within your time in Queenstown/Wānaka. If you are unable to use any days in your multi-day pass due to the mountains being closed, then contact our team to reschedule your days to one outside of your pass window, or to get a refund.
If only one mountain is closed, then depending on capacity levels our team may be able to swap mountain-specific passes to the other ski area.
No we won’t be holding a waitlist, but depending on capacity and cancellations we may release more passes throughout the day – keep an eye on the Snow Report for updates.
We would always recommend collecting your gear and passes in-advance from one of our off-mountain locations to save you time when you arrive on the mountain (head straight to the snow, or a coffee!) We have a town office in Queenstown, as well as a mountain hub in Wānaka called Après, where you can collect rentals. Alternatively, you can collect rentals on-mountain from the rentals department.
If capacity allows, we can move your lesson to a new date, given 48hrs notice. If you would like to amend your lift pass date, please provide 7 days’ notice. Contact our Call Centre team on 0800 440 800 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire.
During our peak period, June 26 - July 14, we are likely to have limited availability. If you need to amend your date, we suggest reaching out as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

We suggest planning the number of days at each resort in advance and purchasing a combination of multiday passes. For example, if you’re on a ski holiday for five days and would like to visit both resorts, you could purchase one 2-day multi-day pass for Treble Cone and one 3-day multi-day pass for Cardrona (or any combination of days that works).
Our multiday passes are resort specific, which means that when you purchase them, you must confirm which mountain you want to use all the days on your pass for. Your pass will only be valid at the resort it has been booked for. It is not possible to split an in-season multiday pass across both resorts.
Want ultimate flexibility? Check out our Flexi 5-Day Pass. These are available all season long, and you can ski and ride where you want and when you want. Please be aware they are unavailable to be purchased on-mountain, we advise purchasing online or from our off-mountain locations.

Yes, you can rent from any Cardrona X Treble Cone location and use the equipment at either mountain.
If you rented from our Queenstown town office, please return it to the same place. If you rent from any of our other locations, you can return them to either Cardrona, Treble Cone or Wanaka Après.

If you’ve rented from Cardrona and you’re skiing the next day, use the ski concierge. Next-day collection must be by 10 am. If you’re running late, ring the ski concierge; the number will be on the tag you received. Only available for skis/snowboards.
For personal skis, we have overnight lockers available for hire. Available for 2 / 4 persons and include boot dryers.
If you are skiing at Treble Cone or Cardrona, you can take them with you.
When booking online, you should receive a pre-arrival email asking you to upload information, i.e., your shoe size, height, and weight. Filling this out ahead of time will make the on-mountain process faster.
If you find skiing or snowboarding isn't for you, you can swap your skis or snowboard out for the other once during the day.
Available to rent are jackets, pants, helmets, goggles and wrist guards (for snowboarding). Gloves can only be purchased at rentals or retail, and we recommend arriving with warm layers to wear underneath.
